Community Noticeboard: The Takeaway

This one’s another big shout out to all of our wonderful wholesale suppliers, thinking fast and adapting their business models to safely deliver hospitality through a second national lockdown. Again, we’re overwhelmed by initiatives to think local and support independent businesses.

Here’s our guide on where to get a cup of Climpson’s coffee (to go, obviously) near you, as well as food picks and deliveries from the restaurants we supply. East is best. Starting in our neighbourhood here’s our top picks to takeaway in East London

Frozen Glory takeaways at the Scolt Head

Starting at Climpson's Arch,

Brat opens for takeaway every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm. Best picks from their wood fired menu and top wines for your weekend too. Head to their instagram to place your orders.

Just down the road, Lardo’s beautiful salon space is transformed into the ultimate bottle shop for natural and organic wines. Pizzas and pastas are all available to pre order and collect too. Meanwhile Frozen Glory is back at The Scolt Head with chef made meals ready to go as well as top sarnies and mini beer kegs to bring the pub home. They’ll deliver every Wednesday to Sunday by electric bike, or collect from the hole in the wall serving hatch (and grab a flat white to go!). Check out the Quarter Store selling East London produce and essentials.
