Hopefully you are recovering from the shock of autumn/winter rolling in and Christmas decorations already going up in shops.
We will be jumping on that bandwagon soon enough, simply because coffee is the perfect gift for those hard-to-buy-for people in your life. Fact.
Climpson’s Arch is in hibernation for a while whilst we refurbish/winter-proof and install a new coffee roaster. We will be open again in November with a line up of events and Arch happenings.
Yes you heard correctly - we are getting a new Roaster. More clean and green than ever before and whilst our coffees may taste different, it will be for the better!
The cafe on Broadway Market is now creating even more magic now offering our single origins in aeropress and v60.
The team have had a great time meeting some of our green bean suppliers as of late, Jono and Nicole Climpson even went as far as cupping nine natural Brazilians the other day! There is a lot of interesting coffees being tried and tested, keep an eye out for the El Salvador La Divina Providencia and an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe from Knots Family Farms.
In other news, the Climpsons have been invited to Milan by La Marzocco, to represent the True Artisan Cafe at Out of the Box, an international trade show with the best of the best in the business being in attendance. To Florence we will then go to see where the amazing La Marzocco espresso machines are hand made.
Keep an eye on facebook and twitter for more updates, happenings, news and events!
With love of good coffee,
