The Climpson’s Arch is now open, bringing together gourmet food, fancy beverages and fine coffee into one gastronomic explosion!
We have two newly built, 3 tonne, wood-fired ovens - we’ve even built in shelves, so we can experiment with smoking foods! Then there’s our multi-level grills, modelled on Michelin star restaurant, Exbarri, in Spain’s Basque Country.
Our summer residents are Lucky Chip’s alter-egos, Licky Chop. They’ve put together a menu that lets the ingredients do the talking. Scallops, rib-eye, mackerel & more. We use different types of wood from sustainable British sources, infusing the food with flavours of oak, cherry and apple. We also source seasonal and local produce.
Once a month we will have guest chefs cook alongside the Licky Chop team too, creating a menu mash-up of epic proportions.
A beverage in hand is just as important as the food, and Dave, our cocktail extraordinaire has created a menu that will evolve throughout the season.
