The Story

Bugoye is a community in the Rwenzori mountains inclining from 1,300 to 2,000 metres above sea level. With most farmers generally working only 1 to 2 acres of land this is a combined community effort with cherries all delivered to a local washing station. Here their fruit is weighed and sorted with farmers paid upfront. From there the cherries are floated, pulped and slowly dried over the next two weeks.
This careful washed process results in a smooth and balanced coffee with notes of golden syrup and tropical sweetness.
