Job Description - Production Assistant
Climpson & Sons are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our roastery team with an opportunity available as a production assistant. This role is based at our East London roastery and involves helping our dispatch team with the packing of wholesale and retail orders. Attention to detail, thinking ahead and the ability to work as a friendly team member are a must.
With an ever-changing list of coffees and equipment this is the perfect chance to get hands on with our production process and develop new skills.
Desirable attributes or experience would be:
- a friendly attitude to customer service and problem solving
- a willingness to go the extra mile and see tasks through to successful completion
- Ability to prioritise tasks and uphold accurate order fulfilment and communication
Coffee industry experience is not essential though some background knowledge or enthusiasm for our product would certainly help. It is important to note that production roles are hands-on and the roastery can be an active and noisy environment. Assistance and safety training will be provided but these roles do involve periods of time standing, lifting and working independently on some packing tasks. This role does not involve roasting duties or training.
