Our Coffee Concentrate has a new home. We’ve swapped the bottle for reusable glass, but inside you’ll find exactly the same specialty coffee you know and love.
Why did we make this change?
We believe in things that last: relationships, packaging and, of course, great coffee.
We take pride in building long-lasting relationships that matter. With producers, customers and our team, these are partnerships built over years. While we think about longevity in our relationships, we’re also committed to understanding and reducing our environmental impact through annual and real-time carbon reporting, responsible sourcing and continually improving our packaging.
That’s where our new Coffee Concentrate packaging comes in. The glass bottle is reusable, so you don’t have to get rid of it once your 1L of coffee is gone. It looks pretty on your fridge shelf, while the pour-friendly bottle also means fewer spills, and fewer coffee stains on your cosy morning robe.
Made to be reused
We’ve chosen glass bottles by Seaways Services, a multi-generational family business based in Telford, UK. The bottles are made using 60% recycled glass and 40% new glass, giving the material a new life while maintaining the quality and durability we need for our Coffee Concentrate.
Once you’ve finished your Coffee Concentrate, give the bottle a wash and give it a new life. It’s dishwasher safe, so you can use it as a water bottle, refill it with another batch of Coffee Concentrate from a BIB, or find a completely different use for it. We’ll leave that part up to you.
Same great recipe
Some things, like our recipe, don't change. We use an innovative flash-brewing technique, where we brew the coffee with hot water, then flash-chill it to extract and lock in the flavours and delicate aromas that you’d expect from fresh espresso. As coffee experts, we believe that hot water is essential to deliver a perfectly balanced, complex brew. It allows us to extract the full range of flavours from the coffee, from acidity and sweetness through to deeper, bitter notes.
We source exceptional coffee from Daterra in Brazil, whose innovative approach to coffee farming puts sustainability at the heart of what they do. The coffee is smooth and sweet, with notes of dark chocolate, hazelnut and marzipan.
How to use it
Just like cordial, add Coffee Concentrate to water or milk for hot or cold specialty coffee in an instant. Now you can have specialty coffee at home without the need for expensive coffee-making equipment. This is a versatile coffee that you can use in endless cocktails, bakes and marinades too. Explore our Coffee Concentrate recipes and find your next favourite way to use it.
