Shipping Policy
Typically, orders placed before midday (12pm GMT) will be shipped the same day. If your order is placed after midday, it’ll likely be dispatched the next available working day (Monday-Friday). We aim to process orders within 1 business day of confirming payment.
Our current domestic shipment offering for retail customers consists of the following:
For orders under 2kg, and being delivered to mainland United Kingdom or Northern Ireland:

- Royal Mail Tracked 48
- DPD Next Day
For orders under 2kg, and being delivered to the Channel Islands, Jersey, or Guernsey:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24
- Royal Mail Tracked 48
- DPD Two Day
- DPD Next Day
For orders over 2kg, and being delivered to the Channel Islands, Jersey, or Guernsey:
- DPD Two Day
Expect delivery of your order within 28 days although most items will be received within 3 working days. Delivery to Northern Island, the Highlands, the Channel Islands, Jersey, or Guernsey may take up to 5 working days. If we cannot ship the goods within this time, the consumer will immediately be notified to agree on another time for shipment. If we cannot agree on another time, the consumer will be offered a refund.
Our postage & packaging system is easy to understand. Postage & packaging is added at the checkout stage depending on how heavy (in weight) your order is.
Climpson & Sons (climpsonandsons.com) retains the right to choose the method of postage. Alternative equivalents may be chosen regardless of the method decided at the checkout area.
Orders over 10kg may be split into multiple deliveries, with the first being dispatched to arrive within 3 working days.

Tracking
All shipment methods include tracking, information about how to track your order can be found in your ‘Your order is being shipped!’ email, which you will receive after receiving your ‘Order Confirmation email’. Click the appropriate tracking number, and you should be redirected to the appropriate website.
Invoices
You will receive a full invoice including taxes in your ‘Order Confirmation’ email. Click ‘Download your Invoice’ to retrieve your invoice.
Shipping Costs
Domestic shipping costs are priced on weight and will be calculated automatically when an order reaches the checkout. This will be broken down into the component of the price of goods and postage & packaging charge. The final price will be in pounds sterling (unless otherwise stated).

- Royal Mail Tracked 48 (£4.74)
- DPD Next Day (£5.00)
- DPD Two Day (£5.00)
Orders over £15 will have free delivery to the UK.
Our current international shipment costs for retail customers consists of the following:
For orders under 2kg:

- Royal Mail International Tracked (from £10.10 - £31.00)
- Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed (from £10.50 - £33.20)
For orders over 2kg:
- DHL Economy Select (from £29.19)

International shipping costs are calculated automatically by destination country and weight. We are currently unable to ship alcohol internationally.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer shipping for retail customers in Russia due to customs regulations. Any order placed for Russia will be refunded with our apologies.
We are also unable to ship to Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.
Orders for Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and U.A.E. require a P.O. Box for shipping to ensure correct delivery. Orders without this will be cancelled and refunded with our apologies.
Orders of coffee that fail to deliver because of an invalid address will not be refunded or reshipped.
We are not responsible for damage or delays caused by customs officials.
Refund Policy
If goods are returned due to being faulty, so long as they are returned within a reasonable time the remedy afforded to the customer, under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended), is a refund. Also, where a consumer exercises his cancellation rights the customer will be given a refund within 30 days of their cancellation.
You, the consumer, are given the right to cancel as required by the Distance Selling Regulations (to not include orders that are to your personal specification). You, the consumer, have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason. The cancellation period in the case of contracts for the supply of goods begins with the day on which the contract is concluded.
The cancellation period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping to return items. Further information on this can be found on the Office of Fair Trading website here. Items must be returned in the condition they were sent and be unopened. Roasted coffee is excluded from these terms.
