Travelling with the inimitable Bruno de Souza: Notes from Minas Gerais, Brazil
4 days ago
Its 2021 and we are all reminiscing about past travel experiences in the absence of the freedom to do so. Life has become so routine that its hard to remember life being different, so its a great pleasure to share some notes with you from a trip a seemingly way back in time now, especially as its very relevant to our coffee offering this year.

The Lady: A Female Farm to Cup Story
This year we’ve been lucky enough to roast Nwar Ban Gyi from The Lady in Myanmar - a unique processing facility collective in the Ywangwan region, staffed exclusively by women and purchasing solely from female smallholders. In a typically male dominated industry we’re proud to celebrate a female-focussed coffee from a budding specialty coffee region. We share reflections from the producer, importer, roaster and barista on what they love about this coffee, and what it means to be a woman in coffee today.

Burning the Midnight Oil: When the cafè doors close, the bar doors open ...
Climpson & Sons coffee pioneers by day, After Hours pioneers by night. A natural fit for us, our After Hours project encapsulates the Climpsons ethos of discovery and experimentation to create a delicious and accessible product. Always served with style. Changing perceptions of the classic coffee liqueur, Midnight Oil forms a great base for your favourite cocktails, as well as being delicious sipped chilled on its own.
