The espresso martini, a cocktail classic and notoriously difficult to make well, has now been perfected and bottled by Climpson & Sons coffee experts. The secret to our great tasting creation is premium ingredients, expertise and small batch production at our roastery in East London.

 

Decaf: The Placebo Effect

Decaf isn't an afterthought at Climpsons. Recognising the time and place for coffee drinking without the caffeine, we source exceptional decaffeinated coffee from La Plata in Huila, Colombia. Breaking industry norms, the decaffeination process happens at the source before export using a natural local cane process. Ultimately this means fewer food miles and greater traceability. The coffee is balanced and bright, with smooth notes of dark chocolate, smooth caramel and citrus rind.

Our Midnight Oil Decaf Espresso Martini is wonderfully consistent and speedy to prepare. We’ve done the work for you by creating a unique and complex cocktail, building layers of flavour born from our extensive experience in coffee brewing and flavour exploration.

 

Ingredients and Method: 

The base ingredient is our very own Decaf Midnight Oil coffee liqueur - featuring exceptional decaf coffee from La Plata in Colombia, a bespoke blend of aged rum from Guyana, unaged Caribbean light Rum, Madagascan vanilla and Costa Rican cacao. We’ve developed a unique way of hot brewing and flash chilling our decaf coffee that draws out and locks in the full spectrum of textures and flavours for a uniquely just brewed freshness.

We then blend our Decaf Coffee Liqueur with a touch of sugar and Vodka from our friends at East London Liquor Company to create the ultimate decaf espresso martini.

    We can only accommodate the people having bought a ticket beforehand. 

  • SCA Courses - Can my booking be cancelled after confirmation?

    Yes. Bookings may be cancelled with a minimum of 5 working days notice before the course start date by contacting us via email or phone. We will then issue you a refund within 2 working days.

  • What happens if my course is cancelled?

    We always endeavour to ensure this does not happen but on the off chance that we can’t avoid it we will ensure to contact you as soon as possible via the contact details you supplied to us when booking your course. You will be offered either to re-book for a future date or receive a full refund.
