The Method

Our flash chill process is unique, and notably different to cold brew methods you might be familiar with. We extract using hot water before cooling in a ‘flash’ to lock in that just-brewed flavour and freshness.

The perfect coffee extraction hits a well balanced spot, extracting sour, sweet and bitter notes from a coffee. Hot water is required to achieve this; it dissolves more of the coffee's volatile compounds, as a result extracting both the acidic and bitter notes of the coffee as well as sweetness. A cold coffee extraction mainly focuses on the sweet and can lose the full rounded flavour of a brew. Our Coffee Concentrates sits at around half the strength of espresso and 3-4 times the strength of filter coffee.

    Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

  • Can I bring a guest to a coffee workshop?

    We can only accommodate the people having bought a ticket beforehand. 

  • SCA Courses - Can my booking be cancelled after confirmation?

    Yes. Bookings may be cancelled with a minimum of 5 working days notice before the course start date by contacting us via email or phone. We will then issue you a refund within 2 working days.

  • What happens if my course is cancelled?

    We always endeavour to ensure this does not happen but on the off chance that we can’t avoid it we will ensure to contact you as soon as possible via the contact details you supplied to us when booking your course. You will be offered either to re-book for a future date or receive a full refund.
