- A course for people who have already worked as a barista but are looking to further their careers

- Learn a deeper understanding of coffee from varieties, origins and processing methods and how they impact on flavour.
- You’ll learn to create an espresso recipe. Understand how different parameters are used to create a balanced espresso. You will be able to identify acidity, sweetness and bitterness with an espresso extraction.

- Milk techniques will be developed

- Work efficiency & customer service

Required Prerequisite: None
Recommended Prerequisite: Introduction to Coffee, Barista Skills Foundation
Minimum Length: 14 hours
Days: 2
Required Exams | Passing Scores: Written exam | 70% Practical exam | Pass each section of exam (passing scores per section vary)

Points Per Course: 10 points
