Broadway Blend is our expression of the seasons — a reminder of just how good a blend can be. It’s our go-to coffee for a flat white at Broadway Market, built for everyday drinking thats never ordinary.

The Winter Broadway Blend is all about balance, depth and approachability. Fresh-crop coffee from Padah Lin, Myanmar brings a bright, sticky mouthfeel, paired with the rounded, comforting body of our long-standing Honduran component from COMSA Cooperative. The result? Rich, satisfying and more-ish.

People. Planet. Processing.

The Myanmar coffee is called Padah-Lin and sourced by the Mandalay Coffee Group via Indochina. It’s grown by smallholder farmers — primarily from the Danu and Pa-O hill tribes — across 16 villages in the remote, mountainous Ywangan region. Farms here range from just 0.25 to 3 acres, with coffee intercropped alongside avocado, papaya and macadamia trees, supporting soil health as well as diverse food and income streams.

After harvest, cherries are delivered to Mandalay Coffee Group’s processing facility near Pyin Oo Lwin, where careful, considered processing brings clarity and life to the cup. Our Head Roaster Emily has loved watching the steady growth in quality from this area.

The backbone of Broadway Blend comes from our long-term partners at the COMSA Cooperative (Café Orgánico Marcala) in Marcala, La Paz, Honduras. Founded in 2001 by 69 producers, COMSA has grown into a cooperative of over 1,200 members, united by a commitment to organic farming, community development and long-term sustainability. Through training in soil regeneration, water management and wildlife conservation, COMSA continues to raise both quality and livelihoods — a powerful example of what organic specialty coffee can achieve.

You can also explore this partnership further through a microlot from our friend Señor Nolasco, who visited us in 2024 representing COMSA: a naturally processed coffee with juicy cherry and apple notes, perfect brewed as a filter.

Together, these coffees capture what Broadway Blend is all about: thoughtful sourcing, long-term relationships and flavour that works hard — every single day.
